The Last Hour

Children, it is the last hour. And as you have heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. By this we know that it is the last hour.  They went out from us, but they did not belong to us; for if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us. However, they went out so that it might be made clear that none of them belongs to us.

But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.  I have not written to you because you don’t know the truth, but because you do know it, and because no lie comes from the truth.  Who is the liar, if not the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This one is the antichrist: the one who denies the Father and the Son.  No one who denies the Son has the Father; he who confesses the Son has the Father as well. 1 John 2:18-23

 …I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one… so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. John 17:20-21, 23

WE MUST UNITE!

1)  WE DESPERATELY NEED EACH OTHER.

 Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other. Romans 12:4-5 NLT

2)  WE ERR ON THE SIDE OF BEING FOR NOT AGAINST.

3)  WE LOVE LIKE JESUS LOVED.

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:34-35  

All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. …And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all that there were no needy persons among them. Acts 4:32-34
